From time immemorial numbers have ruled the destiny of men. Although its origin is unknown, Numerology was born at the same time that life was born. The numbers represent the universal principles according to which all things evolve, continuing their development in a cyclical manner. The digits from 1 to 9 symbolize the stages through which an idea must pass before becoming a reality. Every manifestation results from those nine stages.
Its passage to the western world is due to the great Greek mathematician and philosopher Pythagoras who lived in the 6th century BC. Pythagoras made many trips to the East in search of "superior knowledge", and on his return he founded numerous brotherhoods among which Numerology was taught in relation to behavior and human experiences. According to Pythagoras, the digits from 1 to 9, symbolize the cyclical evolution of the universe.
